"Really felt let down by the reviews for this hotel. I booked and was completely blindsided. Thank God I was only there for a night. This hotel is creepy!! Only 2 floors so the hall is superrrrr long. Looks like construction on this inside of the hotel is taking place bc theres a BIG hole in the wall and it’s covered by wooden blanks (poorly). The location does not have an elevator. When i checked in only one associate was working and the line gets so long itll go past the door. Druggies are around the back of the hotel REALLY BAD. PROBABLY NOT SAFE TO WALK AT NIGHT. I was afraid to unlock my car and put my luggage myself. Breakfast options were VERY limited. Im surprised people were using the gym! The price per night should be like $70. I thought Best Western was a great brand BEFORE THIS WEEKEND. I bring my own pillow & blanket for comfort but this place YOU WILL NEED IT. I couldnt bring myself to sleep under the sheets!"

"First I will say, the staff were very friendly and helpful, NO complaints regarding the staff. The only thing I liked about this place was the fact that there was a coffee maker and microwave in the room. While the lobby of the hotel was maintained, the rooms were not. In my room there were obvious leaks in the ceiling, a crack in the ceiling that ran from one side of the room to the other, the drawers in the furniture would not stay closed, the bathtub would not drain unless you held the button down, and it was passed time to replace the bed. The side door was broken, so anyone could get into the building. This hotel is not worth the cost. Spend a few more dollars."

"Outside landscaping needed some help as it looked like a jungle. Not a good first impression when the grass is to your knees in places. Breakfast area was very small and ran out of plates. Had a reservation for 4 guests and got two bath towels Had to go back downstairs. Feels like this property could use some better management and intentionality. Room was clean but had an odd smell. Definitely room for improvement as we’ve stayed at other Laquinta properties regularly."

"I've always liked staying here every since my 1st time. It's clean. I haven't seen any bugs in my rooms. The parking is convenient. It's close to downtown Greensboro. "
